About Us

Backed by 25 years of heritage

We don’t just manufacture records. We engineer physical experiences.

The Physical Antidote

In an era of disposable digital noise, we believe the physical format is the ultimate artistic statement. We engineer records for the obsessives who care about heavy cardstock, spot-gloss finishes, and the tactile details.

Engineered for Independents

Our factory floor isn’t built for mass-market compromise; it was designed specifically for serious independent labels and art directors. We bridge the gap between raw industrial manufacturing and your bespoke creative vision.

Uncompromising Sonic Fidelity

Visuals mean nothing if the record doesn't sound flawless. From precise lacquer or DMM cutting to industry leading vinyl pressing, we are driven by a single standard: absolute perfected vinyl manufacturing and printing.

Zero-Waste Innovation

We are pioneering the future of physical media without sacrificing the heavyweight feel. Our industry-leading Eco-Mix compounds and zero-waste PVC alternatives dramatically lower your release’s carbon footprint.

Dave Markham

Director

Dave joined AGR in 2008 as the Vinyl Guru. After years of working in manufacturing plants, a new challenge was needed: to help independent labels and artists create stunning vinyl releases quickly and cost effectively, in the best time frames available. He will be your personal assistant throughout the whole process, to ensure everything runs exactly how it should.

Ed Jones

Head of Accounts

Head of Accounts and an absolute artwork wizard with years of experience in his chosen field. Ed has been with AGR since the very beginnings of our journey, and with years of experience in artwork design and fixes, he brings crucial experience to oversee the artwork team.

Jamie Markham

Production Assistant

Jamie keeps production moving: checking files as they arrive, chasing print parts and making sure each job ships on the date it was promised.

2001

The foundation

AGR opens in Essex, booking press time for independent labels at a point when vinyl had been written off and almost nobody was ordering it.

2008

A second life

Dave Markham joins and takes the company on. Same promise then as now: pick up the phone, give a straight answer, deliver the record.

2014

Vinyl comes back

UK vinyl passes a million albums for the first time since 1996. Labels start ringing again, and orders shift from one-off curiosities to proper release schedules.

Present

Where we are now

Records, CDs, cassettes and every printed component, produced through a network of European plants. Runs start at 250 units, so a first pressing does not need a major label behind it.

Labels we've pressed for

Trusted by independent labels and artists.

The liner notes

Hear from the labels, art directors, and independent artists who trust us with their physical releases.

“

I doubt many labels our size get such assistance from their manufacturer, so I wanted the chance to state this clearly. We are so grateful you are part of our team!

“

The vinyl is really cool. Many thanks for all. It's a real pleasure to work with you every time!

“

Just to let you know CDs and vinyl arrived this morning! Brilliant, look great! Many thanks!

“

The records have arrived! Thanks a lot for everything. It's a pleasure doing business with you!

“

We've been working with AGR for a while and they're a sublime company and incredibly positive from beginning to end in the process. The best stuff we've ever had pressed, tbh. Cheers so much pals.

“

Thanx again for a great service to independent artists!
